No matter your religion and no matter what drives you to do good, we can all agree that helping the orphan is a good thing. Helping can mean different things. It can mean sponsoring a child. It can mean financially helping a family who is adopting. It can mean going on mission trips to love on children in orphanages. It can mean supporting a family who has just brought home a new child. The list goes on.

We've done most of that. Now bringing children into our family is what is heavy on our hearts. We are stepping out in faith, where many have gone before us. We appreciate you partnering with us on this endeavor and joining the journey. You can find our current fundraisers at the bottom of this page. Please help us spread the word by forwarding this blog to your friends and family. Thank you!!

Please help us raise the needed funds to bring our daughter home!

Can You Help?

So, a few months ago I shared that we were approved for a Both Hands Project to help us fundraise.  It's an awesome opportunity for us to be blessed with the financial means to bring home Isabel, but also to "pay it forward" (so to speak) and bless someone else in the process.  CLICK HERE for more information on what a Both Hands Project is.  There is a 16 minute video that explains it better then I ever could.

The specifics for our project are as follows:  Our project date is July 21st.  We will be working on the home of a wonderful woman, Ms. Penny Harvey.  She lives alone and suffers from a variety of illnesses.  Even with those challenges, she is very active in her church and lends her time to all in need.  We are honored to offer this day to Ms. Harvey as a blessing to her.  I know she is appreciative and feels so loved already.  We need to finalize our volunteer team ASAP.  Please take a few minutes to watch the video and if you feel that you are able to help us, please let me know very soon.  We still need 4 - 5 volunteer families/individuals.  As a volunteer, you would help us work on Ms. Harvey's home and send out sponsor letters to your friends and family.  We will supply the letters, envelopes and stamps! That's it!!  : )

Thank you in advance for your support!

  1. We would LOVE to help. How much of a time commitment do we need to give? I am thinking the kids would have a 2-3 hour limit before they become distracted and whiny. LOL For your planning purposes: We could only help July 21. We have Operation Blessing on July 28.

    1. The time commitment is whatever you can give on the work day. A few hours would be very helpful! We would also ask that you be able to send out the sponsor letters to your family and friends, post it on Facebook, email and just generally get the word out so that the work day would also be a financial blessing to bring Isabel home. Thank you for helping!
